As part of a small 17 person shop at Sametz Blackstone Associates I enjoy collaborating with our clients from concept development through delivery. I work closely with the design and development team to meet defined user experience goals, and bridge the gap between visual display and implementation requirements.
During my time at Sametz Blackstone Associates as a Digital Strategist I wore a lot of different hats; a bit of IT support, motion graphic production for web and TV ads, information architecture, user experience design, user testing and project management.
To gain the skills needed for a career change to digital strategy I completed a second Bachelors degree in Web Design and Interactive Media at the New England Institute of Art. Along the way I found fantastic mentors who inspired me to keep learning in this ever changing landscape.
At the New England Institute of art I assisted students with understanding various program requirements and outcomes, and coordinated open house and orientation events.
I had a blast working at EF tours in Cambridge. With some amazing trips available for teachers to venture abroad with their students at hand, I enjoyed encouraging group leaders to sign up for trips and helping with participant recruitment and planning. I was also able to assist with testing and training during a custom CRM build.
